Bad Sound Quality

Post by danwestness »

I have been using my MagicJack for quite some time without problems... Recently (the last few weeks) the sound quality has been becoming worse and worse to the point where i can't make out what the other party is saying... My network speed is running optimally and my computer checks out fine, so i have to assume it is something with the magicjack unit, software or servers... Anybody else been having recent issues, or is it just me?

Have you tried changing proxy servers?

You will need to find out the one you are currently using and use the Windows hosts file to redirect it.

Also In your network properties is anything other than TCP/IP being used?

How do you make the change to the Windows hosts file to redirect to a different MagicJack proxy server?

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium?

Thanks.
