411 they have plugged the hole

up until the past few days you could dial a/c + 555-1212 and get real directory assitance........all gone you now get free 411....worst ever,,,it was fun while it lasted.

Dial it as *67X*YZ-555-1212 where XYZ is your areacode - you'll still get the old directory assistance.

Or you can try 1-800-411-SAVE or 1-800-GOOG-411 as alternatives...

Also try 1-800-FREE-411, there's lot of alternatives to the standard pay 411 service.

You could try that, but it would be the same thing as dialing "411" from your magicJack. Since magicJack just sends us to 1800FREE411 when we want directory assistance.
