dialing 800 number, just gives me dial tone again????

trying to call the post office. 800-222-1811. after i dial the number, it just gives me a dial tone again. process repeats.

it worked before, just not now???

I tried that number on my phone and it dialed fine and went to a message who said:" I'm sorry we are experiencing difficulty with your call, please try your number later!". Now this may be magicjack service redirecting or the post office service is down. It's hard to say considering magicjack uses female voices for most of its messages. This one was difinitely different. So I would try using a different phone service to check!

thanks for the reply. i tried about 10 times, it didn't work. i called portugal and it worked. tried the 800# right after that and it worked.

I have found that every once in a while I need to reset the magicjack. If I don't I get similar problem where it dials and then just nothing just a tone. By resetting the magicjack through the GUI software interface it works every time.
