You can with an account from GrandCentral. You can block users dialing the GrandCentral number but not the MJ number. I only give out my GC number anyway.
Not only has it been impossible to get a GrandCentral account for a very l-o-n-g time but it won't be free when Google finally decides to roll out a public service based on it. From prior conversations with Google reps, they're planning on charging $10/month for the now-free service for which they have their fill of unpaid voluntary beta testers.
New here. Tried this and the system accepted it. Go to my magic jack options and forward calls to a non-existent number - for example: your area code-555-5555. This should effectively "block" your calls and not bother anyone else since phone companies never assign the number 555-5555 to anyone.
Hmmm... After doing some checking, I found that supposedly the numbers 555-0100 to 555-0199 are the only ones specifically reserved for fictional use. So I suggest one of these.
