Using MJ with Vista SP1

Post by cougar11211 »

Using MJ with Vista SP1. Does it work? Mine doesn't.
Terrible echo, terrible connections, constant disconnects, etc.
I like the price. But it's not worth the aggravation.

Mine works just fine on Vista SP1. I am just the TJ echo canceling software, but I rarely had an echo problem before I installed it. I never get disconnects and the voice quality is better than my land line.

Works fine for me in Vista, but I do have one main complaint. Not sure if this is exclusive to Vista but the MJ unit not turning back on after PC comes out of sleep is annoying.

cougar11211 are you using a wireless LAN card or are you hard wired? I was wireless and had similar problems, I hard wired and have had zero problems ever since, MJ Rocks.

jaihawk odd mine comes out of the sleep mode with no problem, I have an ACER. Have you tried going into your control panel and tried messing with your power settings? That might help, its where I'd start.

I have a wireless card installed but using a wired connection. Pretty sure I have even disabled the wireless. I've done a few searches for a solution and it seems there is none.

If MS just had a feature to reset USB ports after sleep mode this wouldn't be an issue. Thanks for the reply.

My MJ is directly connected to my PC. No wireless at all.
Thinking my MJ unit broke after 7 months. No other explanations or remedies make sense to me.
The bad part of this? No replacement policy for defective equipment. Terrible customer service.
I'm done with MJ!!
