My MagicJack® worked fine for a short while, but now when I plug in the doggle to make a call, the MJ program does not recognise that it is plugged in. If I were to click on the MJ icon it would say "Warning must plug MJ into USB port" (or something like that). But, my MJ is plugged into the port. I've tried all four USB ports on my computer with other devices (eg. jumpdrives, an MP3 player, a digital camera) and they all are functioning properly. So it is not my computer's USB ports.
Does anyone have any suggestion as to what the problem could be?
Or shall I simply conclude that MagicJack® is really not-so-magical junk?

Follow the steps below:

2. Delete the mjusbsp folder under: <Drive letter>:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Application Data\
