I made the same mistake. He's talking about "magicBLOCK" not "magicJACK." I posted a criticizing response and then realized my mistake, and deleted it.ret27m wrote:I plugged my MJ into my wifes dell installed firefox, closed all programs and hit the enter key and NOTHING, I'd say you need to use your recovery cd's cause its not your MJ that causing the problem.

Can you be more specific about what you are doing?? I run MagicBlock, and have never seen my system link to paypal for anything.
I don't run FFox though. I just use IE or Opera (under Vista).
Also, What version of MagicBlock are you using? I have version 1.2
When I open the MagicBlock gui... the lower half of the window has a very obvious request for donations... but there is nothing automatic about it.

Info in prev post
Already gave all info I have about it.. see above post and link that
show up asking for money. I installed this at the same time on my laptops
and all three have the same deal if computer is empty nothing open and
or running and I press the enter key it loads up the site.. so I removed
it off of one of my laptops and no longer a problem...just never had any
body hijack a keyboard before. Makes you wonder what else may be lurking in his freeware??

Yeah... who cares if the magicBLOCK dude wants donations? He made the program, I think he deserves to have a donation button.az2008 wrote:I made the same mistake.
