When I try to call a number that requires *82 to dial, I get a recorded message that I have reached the Ymax Communication test number.
How do I dial numbers that require a *82 before the area code?

Do you have an example of a number that requires *82 to call? I'm not familiar with that.kgash wrote:When I try to call a number that requires *82 to dial, I get a recorded message that I have reached the Ymax Communication test number.

Re: Calling blocked numbers (*82)
Just went through a chat on the with tech support and found out that I just have to dial the 10 digit number. Apparently, majicJack calls make it through call blocking just fine.kgash wrote:When I try to call a number that requires *82 to dial, I get a recorded message that I have reached the Ymax Communication test number.

Re: Calling blocked numbers (*82)
I believe what he is referring to is people who block unknown callers from calling them. I have some friends who has paid their phone company to not accept calls from unidentified numbers. So if your caller ID is blocked it asks you to unblock it.az2008 wrote:Do you have an example of a number that requires *82 to call? On most telephones, to unblock your caller ID for a specific phone call you dial *82
This would not affect your magicjack because the caller ID is not blocked.
