MagicJack hardware broken Help?!?

I accidentally broke my magicjack and the usb broke off. When I put it together with tape and tilting it a little up to the computer the computer light turns blue. And then when I click the MagicJack softphone shortcut, a sign comes up saying please plug in your magic jack. Anyone have an idea what I can do? Because I don't want to waste another $40 bucks for another one.

You could completely remove the broken plug and solder in a cable with a type A USB plug on the end.

If you do this, be sure that you get the wires in the right place.
