Voicemail can't be check from MJ line but works from others

I bought the MJ yesterday and it has worked perfectly from the start except this annoying thing.

When I call the MJ line's number from an outside line (cell phone, etc.) it will ring, go through to the message, then I can press * pass and enter my vmail box. If I try this from the MJ line it instantly drops the call to dial tone (like when calling a line that is busy). The vmail button does the exact same thing too. All outgoing calls work fine. I did the support circuit for a few hours yesterday and all of the resetting, updating, unplugging/plugging, formatting, editting registry, etc. wouldn't change it. What will make this work?
