you'll have to install MJ softphone first, then read this topic to get the correct "mjusbsp" folder

Benefits of running MJ as a service and running w/o dongle
I guess from reasoning I could see the upside to setting all this up and running without the dongle.
But then without the dongle, how do you connect a hard line to it.
The dongle converts analog phone single to digital via USB. Without the dongle how would this get accomplished.
Also what are the benefits to running it as a service. Does it run better? How so?

Re: Benefits of running MJ as a service and running w/o dong
It's only useful for people who use the softphone with a headset. The upside is that it reduces the wear and tear on the USB device, which seems to be delicate (considering all the "broken storage" reports). It eliminates the softphone opening the device's flash drive for write every 3 seconds (run procmon and watch for yourself.).ruh8n2 wrote:But then without the dongle, how do you connect a hard line to it.
