the only thing else i read was about the firewall? which i do not know how to get down.
someone said something about using a hub with power connection?
i have no idea what to do now.
i cannot even call my cell phone, it just clicks off.
i have tried all the disconnecting, another phone. nothing gets it working and i had to disconnect my vonage to even try, so i have NO phone. help!!!!

Why would you have to disconnect Vonage to try magicJack? The two run on completely different equipment and have no problems residing behind the same NAT router.
What is the physical layout of EVERYTHING in your Local Area Network. Modem? Router? Switch? Hub? PC(s)? Mac(s)? Vonage ATA(s)? Printers? Anything else?
Does your Mac successfully talk with the outside world with the MJ connected? With it disconnected?
