Any Linksys/Sipura, Grandstream or Snom phone should work with MJ with no effort -- as long as the phone is unlocked, of course.

There is a nice and affordable (approx. $60 on eBay) solution for the SMC WSKP100:

I have found a good deal on this wireless IP phone. Its a Belkin F1PP000G.
It looks very similiar to the SMC one? Is it the same model/firmware and could it be hacked the same way the SMC was?

Thanks!

I think this will be a good candidate for MJ. But still too costly.

What make this phone unique is it's ability to use hot spots which require browser authentication. The WIP330 has a built in web browser and allows access to HotSpots where a web page asks for a password before you can use the internet. This is the case at most hotels, cafe's, bars etc that offer wifi access. The WIP330 also offers wireless N access, again a first.

Soory: As mberlant pointed out to me this phone is not an option for Magicjack because of some audio codec issues.

if you're about to use it at home, ATA+regular cordless phone is still the best and cheapest. Why? just check the battery life of those WiFi IP phone. Wired IP phone is OK but you'll lose the wireless freedom. Another option is wifi enabled smartphones.
