Make use of your ATA's call forwarding function.

First of all, thanks for those smart guys on this forum.

Bought a rtp300 for $5 out of a former Vonage user, unlocked it and hooked it up. Fixed delay of dial tune after poking the nubmer with dial plan modification. Last night while fixing caller id time issue, gave a try on the user panel of the voice control. Put my office number in and have it forwarded to my cell, it works. The ATA was back feed to the wall and all my 3 cordless phone, 2 panasonic (2.4 and 5.8MHz each) and one 2.4 VTec, displayed the phone number before anwsering the call. Have to fix voice mail indicator on my cordless tonight, the light did not go off after delete all the VM. So far, the ATA works very well.

DSL 1.5m/Ausus WI520GU (using DD-WRT firmware)/Linksys RTP 300 are the few hardwares.

Thanks again for all the supporters of this forum, you guys rock.

When chasing your Message Waiting problem, make sure that you consult with the Voice|Info page of your RTP to be sure that the Line you care about is showing properly whether a message is waiting or not. For example, if Info says "Message Waiting: Yes" when you know there are no messages waiting, you will know that you don't have to change anything in your Panasonic.
