There was a brief period when that appeared to be true. There was a much longer period when the outbound limit seemed to be one hour. That was my experience. Currently (last 6 weeks or so) I have been able to conduct calls lasting close to two hours. I haven't tried to exceed that length. :D

OP, please edit the the title to "Magicjack Call length limit" or something similar. magicjack as a title of the thread is just too generic.

Better yet, If he had searched a little bit, he might have found the answer instead of adding redundant trash to the forum. Every post pertaining to the time limit will show that that 30 minute cap had been removed

Extended to two hours. Not removed.

Personally, I'm sympathetic to people who post redundant questions. Forums are not terrific stores of static Q/A information (and how-to's). The info isn't easy to find. If it's made a "sticky" it just becomes a more important discussion, which devolves into 20 pages of dialogue.

Although it's possible to find info doesn't mean historically archived discussions are the best tool to capture and make available commonly-used information. It's just one step better than recording conversations and telling people they should listen to hours of tapes to find what they're looking for.

Having said that, I agree a lot of people are lazy. I'm often struck by people asking a question where the topic just 1-4 topics below theirs clearly identifies itself as the same topic.

I'm with Mark. Maybe I need to improve my search technique. I've searched for things that I know I've seen in my hours of reading here and not been able to find without again wading through pages of historical(no longer applicable?) posts, e.g., Direct X improves audio quality. As best I can tell, that's not the case now.
