magicjack lost files

okay the usb drive windows did a system check on the drive it lost the files spent hours with tech people with no help same stuff over and over again
the usb drive had nothing but a folder named magicjack no files after many times of running the update.exe file here is how i fixed i went to start run then application data
then mjusbsp then i went into ug00000 ran install and then setup in there magically my files are now back on there

I have seen this happen multiple times. Its not you. I have backed up the files on the mj drive to my hard disk so when this happens (about 4 or 5 times already), I can copy back the files. In case, I had to reformat the drive first.

Not sure why it happens or why sometimes it tells me the USB is not connected when it is...

What I know is there have been quite a few problems like this in the last 60 days and many people are experiencing it so I am not going to blame anything on my Dell XPS nor Vista 32.

What I DO know is that MJ support (which are not MJ employees) are useless to help with any of this stuff. You are better off getting help here and just 'riding out the storm'.

its cool after i did what i said up there which put the files back on the magic jack i got the sip information and my magicjack is now just layen somewhere
