Having a Magicjack / WiFi problem. Wonder If Anyone Can Help
I have been using the magicjack for a few months and i love it, Im havign a problem tho in my office on one of the CPUS that runs on the wireless connection. When i go to use the phone that is plugged into the magic jack it completely disconnects my wifi connection. Anyone else ever have this problem or have an idea how to fix it?

You are most likely using a 2.4 Ghz phone which is interfering with your wifi. Try a different phone (corded), or a different channel for your phone/wifi, and see if that helps.padaddyof3 wrote:I have been using the magicjack for a few months and i love it, Im havign a problem tho in my office on one of the CPUS that runs on the wireless connection. Absolutely its the interference with your phone and wireless connection, I had the same problem when i start using voip my 2.4ghz phone and wireless router were only 2 feet away from each other, for me easy solution was to just change the phone to 5.8ghz and problem solved but before you do that try couple of things if they dont work then simply change the phone, move the phone base away from the cpuas far as u can, also try changing the wireless channel from you router settings. Good Luckpadaddyof3 wrote:I have been using the magicjack for a few months and i love it, Im havign a problem tho in my office on one of the CPUS that runs on the wireless connection.
