How to Configure Magicjack in IP Phone with SIP

Post by ydnim »

I need help... I am very new at this and I don't know what to do.

this is the IP phone I am using: http://www.suncomm.com.tw/Product_detai ... ID=1000344

I noticed that I dont have a SIP user agent settings field. Is that okay?
What should I put in dialing plan? Can i leave it blank? I need a dialing plan that allows 10-digit dialing and does not allow 911 call.

Please help me. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)
I am so confused on what to do.
I don't receive any incoming calls, it goes directly to voicemail.

Please advise me what I did wrong and help me configure my IP phone because my magicjack keeps on restarting if I use it on my computer.
Thanks a lot! :)

Do not leave the UserAgent blank!

This is what MagicJack uses to block you from their service.

seems like you have ma misspelling on the server name "roxy1" instead of "proxy1", while I believe the domain name should be "talk4free.com" and not be left blank.

Don't know if this is out in left field but for my ATA, userID, display name, and Authentication are all of the form Exxxxxxxxxx01. Hope this moves you along the right path.

Also, somewhere in the various menu pages (we haven't seen all of them) make sure that you select G711u for your codec. It's the only one MJ plays with.
