Voice Mail Indicator

I have seen mention of a voice mail indicator in some of the post, is there supposed to be one? I have noticed a small grey dot next to the vmail button but it does not change when I have a message????

I think it's flakey at best. There are times that I know I've got vmail waiting and the light is on, other times it's on when I know there is NO vmail waiting.

My experience is that the VM indicator is not very accurate. I have better luck just checking my email to see if there are new messages in my VM.

When you put the mouse over the Vmail button, you shoudl get a popup message that indicates how many old/new messages you have.

When I put my mouse over the Vmail indicator, it just pops up a tooltip that says, "VoiceMail". While I don't have any new messages I know that I've got several old ones on there.

Most of the time mine just pops up "VOICEMAIL" when I mouse over. I notice the last time I ran the magic fix it actually had an indicator that said I always had 1 new message even though it remained that way even after deleting the message.

But now it is back to the same as the beginning....just reads "VOICEMAIL" when I mouse over it - even though I left myself 3 messages intentionally to see if the indicator would 'work' again. I do get my emails however....just wouldn't depend on the indicator.

My voice mail indicator doesn't work either. If I mouse over it even says "no voice mail". I do have e-mail announcement however, which works fine for me.
