usb message, no ymax, nada!!!

ok. I am hoping that someone can help. I got MJ installed it and had great results for a day. I shut down the computer that night and the next day when I started back up, I got the dreaded "must plug into usb" and then it opens MJ homepage. After hours upon hours of different attempts with different live chat techs (high level at that) nothing has worked. I have nothing with the name YMAx in it. I've upgraded, I have asked for permission. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I do not have softphone. I see the format option on the MJ drive but when i try to select it nothing happens. AHHHH!!! Anyone with any ideas? Thanks you guys!!!
