Error #3

I am running Magicjack on Intel Mac using latest leopard software. I have the MJ running all the time and when I com back to the computer it almost always shows it is NOT hooked to the internet, Error #3, although the Internet is NEVER off. I have to constantly disconnect, erase everything and wait before rehooking up. It works fine immediately and then later it does the same thing. I have Skype wortking at the same time, is there some interaction with Skype?
