I have been told that only part of a page is actually received at the target fax
number, and I always get a message on my fax display that fax has failed.
what is the trick to send faxes?

Lower the send and receive speed to 9600 or 4800. Mine works fine at 9600.

Set Up> Advanced Fax Set Up>Fax Speed done.. While you are there, go back up one and change the error Correction to "Off"
