How long does it take for 911 to turn from Yellow to Green?

I updated my 911 address 72 hours ago and it is still showing up Yellow (sent to the 911 service but they haven't yet acknowledged that they understand this information). The tech support is telling me to add it again. Since we can't delete past 911 addresses, I am reluctant to create unnecessary address clutter. Is it possible for it to take this long for verification?

It can take 2-3 days for it to go green but sometimes it may be a little longer. I would just wait a bit more before adding more address.
