clarification?
Basically my magicjack disappears when attempt to move the window. It actually still works but the window will not reappear until I close and reopen. I ran Apple Updates and got 10.5.7 and maybe a java update I believe recently.
I assume this is the issue above. And how does one obtain the Mac Update mentioned above?

Here may be the problem with the software disappearing when you try to move it:
At some point, you've moved it off-screen.
I was using the "trick" of putting the softphone into the lower corner of my screen, so even when it popped up, it wouldn't annoy. Since I use the MacOS "Spaces" feature, I set magicJack to be shown on EVERY space, so it wouldn't change spaces when it showed up.
So, if you're having the disappearing when trying to move it problem, go to Apple>System Preferences>Expose & Spaces. Choose the Spaces tab. There. Did it pop up for a minute? If you choose "Show Spaces in menu bar", you'll have an icon for Spaces up there. If you're NOT using Spaces, turn it on for this troubleshooting. You can use the icon in your menu bar to easily get to the Space preference panel a number of times for this solution, and then disable it later if you don't want to use it.
Play with opening and closing the Spaces preference panel windows until you glimpse the mJ window somewhere on the edge of your screen where it's out of the way, and not front and center. Once you find that glimpse of it, try to move THAT back into a normal place on your screen.
Now, QUIT the mJ application, to make it save the window placement settings. Unplug your mJ, and plug back in. Start things back up and it should work. At least it did for me.
You'll have your mJ window back, and it won't move away again.
If I can explain this better, let me know. It's a weird issue, and the "fix" isn't an exact science, but using the Spaces preference panel seemed to make it show up a bit, and I was able to find it at the very edge of my screen somewhere and get it back where it was supposed to be! Woohoo!

Fantastic
I accidentally switched resolution on the the mini and it appeared, but I couldn't make it permanent.
Thanks all.

Oh I will.
I wasn't clear. The resolution change made it reappear. I will try your suggestion at home to make it permenant. Well after the kids get done watching cartoons on Hulu. LOL.
