All the info you need is in the following Post, all you need is to replace your new Data.

I have a MJ that still works with my ATA even after the update and one that doesn't work after the update. Getting his config probably wouldn't help. Either it works or it doesn't.

How they distinguish between who gets cut off and who doesn't is anyones guess.

Though mine is still working I'm waiting for it to eventually stop.

I'm starting to wonder if they're able to actually blacklist numbers.

If you are Blacklisted even your dongle won't work.

"Blacklisted" as in knowing which numbers are used with an ATA and then having them changed. I ended up using the SIP info from my second MJ that had only been used with the dongle.

I've done all of this and triple checked everything. My older Magicjack that I've had for over a year still doesn't work, but my new Magicjack that I received on Monday does work. I have the old Magicjack on Line 1, the new Magicjack on Line 2, and I'm using a Linksys PAP2T. Any ideas?

I have done everything too, but its not working unless I set the register expire command to 0 in which only the dial tone comes up. Are there any other tricks that we need to do?

One other note in case it might help, my old, non-working, Magicjack is using the losangeles proxy; the new Magicjack is using the Denver proxy.

In case this may help, you can use any proxy you want, try changing the proxy to proxy01.miami.talk4free.com which is working on my PAP2t.

Ive tried everything possible in different configs including dif proxies. I have set the magic jack up to run as a service for now! took 5 minutes and its better than having that ignorant app pop up everytime someone uses the phone or calls! still upset tho it was very nice to not have to leave pc on to have a phone!

same here. i tried the following too:

proxy1.losangeles.talk4free.com to proxy01.losangeles.talk4free.com
MagicJack/1.80.466c (SJ Labs) to MagicJack/1.80.484a (SJ Labs)
tried denver and miami proxy also.
tried ports 5060, 5070, 5071
disable stun server
changed stun server

crap, this sucks. i hope we get a solution soon.

No luck with the miami proxy. I also tried the denver proxy that is working with my 2nd Magicjack on the same Linksys ATA, and it doesn't work either.

I have a noob question:
once you set up MJ with ATA, you no longer need the dongle?
Would this ATA work overseas or is there any restriction on the use for US only as i found out that NA in the model # means N.America?

you should be able to use it overseas just fine, and no you do not need to use the dongle any longer. You still will need access to it because passwords do change from time to time.
