Cool video, but I actually owned a Bell System teletype that worked at a max speed of 110 baud on Compuserve Data Service.

Slow and expensive but I was connected way back in the early days of computing.:)

I was in the Air Force for over 21 years starting in 1974. We had 50 baud teletype machines then.

War Games was just on. Amazing to see how some of it was so lame through MUCH more experienced eyes huh? I think there was one part they were trying to figure things out by working on a STC tape drive ( I used to work for them) actually made me laugh outloud.
I am sure in 20 years from now we will see stuff from today to make us laugh too..

The 80's, good ol' days? They sucked, only we didn't know it at the time...

I guess you missed the NOT after the good old days :)
Only good thing about them was both my sons were born in the 80's. That and Ronald Reagan was president. Sigh now I really miss the 80's :)

That's right, the 80's didn't suck. I wish we had another Reagan!

Remember Le colonel Mouammar Kadafi, how about Daniel Noriega!

Now we got Lil' Kim Yong-il in North Korea.

WWRD?

That's an easy question to answer...

As the police commish in NY once said... "Kill them all and let God sort it out" Works for me. Only thing a bully understands is a punch in the nose.. NOT going on an apology tour like NObama

By the time Obama finishes his vacation on the public dime, it will be re-election time.
