Does anyone know why whenever I plug a magicjack in on 1 of my computers I get a broken storage error no matter what? yet when I plug it into another computer they work fine? They have worked on my other computer before but now whenever I plug them in I'm getting the broken storage error. I've deleted virtually every registry entry containing magicjack, talk4free and also tigerjet. I've also deleted every single related magicjack file on my system and any trace of it i could find, yet when i plug them in, its a broken storage error every single time. I've tried formatting the magicjacks and all that, they still do it.
Does anyone know what else I can do? or if they know of any other hidden registry settings I should be deleting to try to get some sort of a fresh magicjack installation on this computer and hopefully that would get it working? I would really appreciate any help
Thank you
Broken storage on 1 computer, fine on another

No, it has nothing to do with a hardware related issue as I've used a seperate windows installation on the same computer and it works fine but thanks for your input. I really want to figure out what the problem is so i can just get this working. I can't seem to think of what else I can do besides cleaning out my registry/delete all instances of magicjack files on my system.VaHam wrote:Do you think it may be related to the available USB power on the computer where it fails? Do you have a powered USB hub you can insert to see if that may be the problem?
