SOLUTION: Provisioning Servers are not accessible

Post by Becca »

Sometime middle of last week, I started getting this error:

I struggled for a LONG TIME; Tech Support had me formatting drives, rebooting, you name it. I just gave up on them after a few hours of their 'help'.

Then I discovered this update.

After which, the Magicjack started.

Hopefully, this post is useful to someone here with this same problem.

I am very familiar with PC's, but I am not sure how any general user would be able to use this magicJack. I can only imagine my mother and father trying to use it.

The timing sounds about right for the roll-out of the latest MJ update on June 9/09. For most people, the update happened automatically. Could it be you have a firewall or similar that blocks automatic updates and you had to manually update because of your enhanced security?

Might it be a slip--perhaps the provisioning servers will be to provision MJ ATA.
