I would be happy to use MJ's software instead of an ATA if it was available for Linux (hopefully the dongleless setup will work also). My license expires at the end of October so if they actually hold to this (unlikely) I'll renew. Otherwise, I'll probably let it lapse and renew if/when Linux support actually arrives.

If they want to cut corners, instead of a full-blown Linux client, they could tweak the Windows version so it works in Linux under Wine. Some people have already come very close without any help at all. I tried running it in a Windows VM but that's just too much overhead and hassle, plus the sound quality is very poor.
