Anyone using Firedaemon with Magicjack ? I need some help !

Post by Frogbone »

Running Vista Home Premium with 4 User accounts.

Problem I have been having is that the constant user changes (kids) makes my Magicjack not work at times.

Also, when MS installs updates and reboots the machine MJ won't work unless I log into my user account which I don't always do before leaving the house.

I found the Firedaemon application which I would like to use to run MJ as a service.

It seems pretty straight forward except that I am not sure what file I need to select in Firedaemon to start the service.

Also what changes do i need to make in the registry to prevent MJ to try to start again when loging into my account. (It's already running at that time as a service, right? )

If anyone has a step by step procedure that I could follow that would be great. I read a lot of other posts that describe similar procedures, just not for using Firedaemon. I can't seem to piece all the correct info together :( Fells like I am having some ADD issues :(

Thanks for your help !!

I did but it's all about other ways of doing it, not FireDaemon.
