compatiable phones for MJ

Post by brudge2140 »

My first year of MJ will be up next month. I am using Vtech 5.8 that have worked well, during that time. I got a Philips 6.0 cordless and it does eveything but call out; cannot get past the dial tone.
I don't suppose there would be a software hack for that? would it be in the circuitry? If it's buy and try; I ordered vetech 6.0 cordless and am hoping for the best. any suggestions?? thanks!

Hi, check out the various threads on compatible cordless phones, here's one discussion http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/wire ... t4352.html. There are others (search "cordless phones") that talk about similar problems to yours about dialing. In their case, it started to work again.

My Panasonic KX-TG2730 system (3 phones) works great. I got the set on ebay for $30. True is only 2.4GHz but works for me.
