Xlite works with MJProxy.. Still no luck with "MTA 6328

Post by cooldude929 »

Hello Gurus,

I have finally got MJProxy running and tested with Xlite, it worked great.

However, still no luck with ATA (Sunrocket Gizmo: MTA 6328-2Re).

MJProxy running on 192.168.0.104:5070

MTA6328-2Re Configuration:

SIP PROXY : sip:192.168.0.104:5070
Use Outbound Proxy: YES
SIP Local Signaling Por :5060
SIP Domain 192.168.0.104

Its not able to register. Still, Incoming works.

Any suggestion or comments would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

It first says 410 -Gone on Xlite too. When I connect again, it works on Xlite.

That ATA doesn't send the CallID parameter so it won't work unless you handle the CallID separately in the proxy.

Yes, I have figured out that..

It sends the caller ID.. but with abbreviation, that is "i: "

v: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.0.103:5060;branch=z9hG4bKc0a800675060-2060;rport
f: sip:[email protected];tag=C0A8006713C4-803FA3F01
t: sip:[email protected]
i: [email protected]

f = From
t = To
i = Call-ID
v = Via

I have tried to fix the script. However, I couldn't get consistent nonces because this caller ID has got @ and . characters.

Need to work on the logic.. Any gurus might be helpful

Finally got it working.. Looks like its sending compact header (instead of full header). I have disabled the limit on header size. It started working.

both incoming and outgoing work, but outgoing calls get dropped after around 3min 25seconds..

Haven't test incoming calls yet.

Do we need to open any firewall ports for MJProxy to work well ?

Thanks

CoolDude:

I've had the MJMD5 running with the Innomedia ATA now for over a week - no problems. Incoming/Outgoing work with no dropped calls fine.

As far as your ATA settings:

MTA6328-2Re Configuration:

SIP PROXY : sip:192.168.0.104:5070
Use Outbound Proxy: YES
SIP Local Signaling Por :5060
SIP Domain 192.168.0.104

mine are slightly different and I suggest:

SIP PROXY : sip:192.168.0.104:5070
Use Outbound Proxy: NO (unchecked)
SIP Local Signaling Por :5070
SIP Domain 192.168.0.104:5070

Make Sure that your router (if you're using one) assigns the PC running MJMD5 '192.168.0.104' as a fixed static address, not dynamically in some IP address range. I also have my Registration interval set to 60 seconds if that helps.

Oops - sorry, with all your cross posts I now see that all this scripting mishmash you have posted is that you're trying to get this to work with DDWRT-MJMD5.

...Nevermind.....

Synchron,

You're awesome.. I have unchecked that "Outgoing proxy" and selected "729A".. It has been great so far.

What codecs do you use ?

By the way, you're using sunrocket firmware or got any other good firmware ? Sunrocket firmware sucks and very limited options.

Thanks a lot!!
