Plugged in a brand new magicJack - it installed and allowed to register, get a phone number, etc.
However, when the softphone starts up, it complains that there is no phone attached - even though there is. The error message is:
"No telephone found. Please re-plug your magicJack"
Other symptoms:
- Can dial from the softphone - the call goes through, but the other side can't hear (yes there is a working microphone on the computer)
The attached telephone has a dialtone. However, dialing does not seem to "register" i.e, the dialtone does not cut off when dialing.
Anyone know how to solve this problem on a Mac? Or figure out what's going wrong?
