Hi, MJ user on Windows 7 RC with update installed.
I can't make outbound calls with my telephone. Softphone works fine.
I can take inbound calls and that works well.
Any ideas?
TIA
Outbound calls

No Joy with Windows 7 RTM
I've got the same problem.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate X64 (RTM)...
I have dialtone.
I can toggle between headset and telephone on the MJ.
I can make softphone calls through my headset
I dial an outbound call using the softphone...and then pickup the telephone and it works.
I just can't pickup the phone and dial using the phone. (very strange).
It's like the MJ no longer recognizes the "off-the-hook" signal.
I spent about 2.5hrs with MJ tech support (which were great btw)...but still no joy in resolving the issue.
I'm sure they will get this sorted out...as people are going to bail in droves from Vista and MJ is too good to have this not work on Win 7.

Hi Guys,
I am back with a simple solution for this kind of issue.
Simply login in to your magicjack account and click on Change Magicjack setting ,You have to make sure that Pin is selected from there.
If it is already selected , then uncheck it first and save changes . You will need to restart your Magicjack after applying changes .
Now again select it and click on Save changes.
You will need to restart your Magicjack Menu --- > Advanced user--> Restart .
You can end the magicjack.exe process from task manager and unplug your magicjack . Then replug your magicjack after 2 minutes.
This is working for Me. Now let me know if this works for you or not

No luck...
I checked the box...
and still no luck... the MJ does not recognize the attached telephone.
Dennis
P.S. I know my MJ works... as I can use it in other PCs running Vista...
