MJ keeps switching to headset

My MJ keeps switching from telephone to headset, and as a result, incomeing phone calls ring on my telephone but get no sound.

Is there a way to force MJ to stay on telephone profile instead of switching to headset randomly.

I would try it with a different phone for starters, next try to run magicfix from the menu. Finally, I assume you are running the console and not as a service. It may be something with the phone itself start out with a really cheap $8.00 drug store phone and then then work your way back to your phone.

I have the same problem except it is now 2011. I'm running MJ on an HP thin client and more recently MJ has been switching to headset on it's own about 1 or 2 times a week. I had this problem previously then it disappeared for a long time and now it's back again.

I recently read about making sure not to bring over the sound from the thin client when accessing it via the remote desktop function. You have to choose not to do that in the options section. One guys said it solved his problems but he connects to the TC using the RD program regularly where as I do not.

I am also looking to find a way to force MJ to handset only. I'll report back if I find anything.
