I get one long ring and my caller is put to voicemail

Just started happening on my xp machine.Call comes through as one long,loud ring that doesnt end until I pick up phone and no voice on the other end.My caller got my voicemail and I went there to find out who it was and call them back.Have had magic for over one year and this is new problem for me.I am using powered USB hub but at time the hub was not plugged in.Perhaps this was the problem or maybe i should just plug into computer usb directly? Any help appreciated thanks matt

I had the same problem. The problem is with the USB cable. Try plugging it directly to the comp and see if that works.
