Grandstream Budgtone-100

Post by Brenbro2 »

Successfully installed MJ credentials in Grandstream BT-100. So far seems to be working well, have made and received calls with no problem. Price was right $0 for phone (friend had some that were left over from a defunct business venture) gave one to me to play with. Thanks to our friends with the Grandstream HT's that published here in the forum, I had all the info I needed to tweak it into working. I did have to reset factory defaults in order to access and modify the advance settings, but was simple to do. No address book in phone, but I've been dialing by hand for the better part of 62 years anyway and at least I can turn-off my PC and still have my MJ working.

I made NO changes to the settings on my D-Link DIR 300 router. Only input my MJ ident, P/W, server, etc. in the phone and modified a couple of settings and all works well. (by the way I used the info I had pulled off MJ back in May, not fresh info)

And is there is nothing from Winxp effecting it since it has run equally well while the PC was booted up in Ubuntu 9.10 alfa and with the PC shut-down entirely.

Believe me, no one can be more amazed then I, that everything fell into place and worked so well. I was anticipating a lot of tweaking and complete failure in the end. Just started the project because it was $0 cost, I had access to the phone and the PAP2-T I ordered won't be here until next week, wanted to play with setting and all before I tried with that.
