type username and pw for verification everytime mj loads ?

Every time I load MJ, I get a verification window where I have to put in my username and password. Today, the mj chat support told me that it has been made a standard procedure as people started complaining of their mjs being stolen.

I dont believe it - do you all have to put key in your username and pw for verification everytime you load mj ?

That's a negative. I never have to enter my credentials, except when directly accessing the my.magicjack website.

I do a fresh reboot every morning.

see.... I knew that. this mj is messed up in windows 7

and the mj support is a liar that I have to do it everytime for security reasons.

Well, let's ask others who are using W7. Isn't it true that you W7 users got a MJ update that the rest of us did not?

Because I'm still using my beloved XP, and didn't get that W7 update, that means you may very well have some type of new requirement, that I don't.

Do other W7 users have to "log-in" each time they start MJ?

However, I suspect you're right about being lied to.

Same to me I had to enter my credentials, each time for the last 2 days but today it seems to be ok and did not ask for my my credentials when I lstart the MJ device.

My OS : wndows XP.

On the win xp machines, sometimes I had to type for verification but once. I even asked the chat support that once I have successfully verified why would I have to do that again if I immediately plug out and plug in the device. She went into detail about mj being reported stolen ......
Anyways on win xp I had to do once in a while only.

I did installed the win 7 update and it sort of seemed to flash the device. Nothing came out of it.

It seems they need to do something about win 7. And all the contacts got deleted also

Seems they are implementing this feature slowly. This very reason is enough for me to stop using mj. I am so tired of doing that all the time.

yeah, I also did once a while.
But to do it every time you plug in (maybe more than once daily) is a pain
