"Memory could not be read"????

I've seen this problem addressed a couple of times on earlier posts, but there's been no response thus far. Let me try it. Immediately after reboot on a TC, MJ opens just fine. But about two minutes later, I get the following message on a pop-up screen:

"Application referenced memory at 0x00002cca. The memory could not be 'read'."

The pop-up then invites me to press OK to terminate the application. When I press okay or close the pop-up window, Magic Jack is terminated and my phones are dead.

I've done over three hours research on this problem and can't find a solution. Does anyone have any idea on where to go with this? I am running MJ on a Neoware TC 4GB/256mg of RAM. This thing has been working just fine for the past month, so I know I have enough HD and RAM space. I'm stumped!

I had the same issue on my TC and moved it "back" to the PC..
Which then gave the "application.exe" error..

I put the MJ in my Win7 box ( quad 3.0GHz 8Gig RAM) and the problem went
away...
loaded Win7 on an Everex 1.5Ghz 500meg RAM.. no issues..
I will probably load XP on this box.. just to test..

(The PC I started out on is a 400Mhz 128 RAM that did nothing but run MJ
and the TC is also a 400MHz with 256 RAM)

After spending 2 hours on "chat support" MJ is sending me a new unit..

I personally believe after all of this .. it is an XP thing.. not a hardware thing...

I have the same problem.

Not very informative??? I guess you should try mJ tech chat, they are not informative. I guess you haven't been here for long. Too bad for you as this is the most informative mJ site on the net. You may need to learn just a bit of patience. There are many issues with mJ, and new ones popping up all the time, especially after mJ updates their software. It does takes the members on this forum just a little bit of time to figure out what they screwed up and how to fix it. Comments like this make it difficult for us to want to share what we learn with ungrateful people who have nothing to contribute and expect everyone else to hand them the answers on a silver platter...take, take, take makes me not want to give. Sorry for the rant, but you asked for it.
