If you do not find anything , just type conference and look for result

Is there a charge for non-magicjack callers?
If there is a charge....what is it?

Interestingly, a group of people including me were asked to join a conference call tonight which was the MJ facility. I typed 1 and then a 5 digit conference room and #. I was consistently told it was NOT a valid conference room number. Everyone else got in / no one else had a problem but me.

I am on a MJ with a directly connected wired phone (RTC). I wonder if it is either my MJ or the RTC tones though I do not have a problem dialing or using the MJ for anything else.

I would think it depends on what kind of long distance service the caller has with the phone company/cell service provider. I pay a flat monthly rate on my land line no matter how many domestic l/d calls I make.

305 848 8888

Post by Shawna582 »

To answer your questions about whether the number written in the subject of this message is toll-free. The answer is yes. I just chatted with an individual from the Magic Live Help chat who confirmed that this number is like a toll-free number. The conversation is as follows bellow:

Shawna: and is the 305 number long distance?

Shawna: hello?

Rhett: One moment please...

Rhett: Thank you for waiting.

Rhett: The 305-848-8888 is just like a toll free numbers.

Shawna: ok...that is great.

Hope this helps.

The 305 area code # is a long distance number unless you live in that area and that exchange area. The use of the service is "essentially" free, but it makes its' money by charging higher call termination fees to non-Y-Max telephone companies.
If you are a pay by call long distance customer you pay for the call, if you pay flat rate long distance or it is included in your base telephone bill, then you will see no additional charges.
