Will setting up a new MJ download the SIP Block update?

I currently have a MJ running via PAP2t thru MJMD5 on my dd-wrt router. This was setup 6 months ago. My friend wants the same setup.

I just checked the forums here and read that the new MJ update hides the SIP info.

I need to get the SIP username and password before I move on. What would be the best way to get this from a brand new MJ?

I need to setup up the MJ phone number first but would that automatically download the MJ update that will block me from getting the SIP info?

What is the proper update?

I am about to do the same too, so before buying a pap2 , i wanna make sure,i will be able to get that crucial info too.
