The MJ keypad indicates I have received a call. I can see an incoming call, with number provided, lasting over 2 minutes. When I check VM, the message is not there. Since currently VM aren't being received at my e-mail address (a whole different problem) I am missing VM messages completely. Does anyone have a fix for this?
Call your number from another phone and check your email that way. And then try restarting your magic jack and see if your voice mail can then be checked using the softpad on your computer.
Just go to MJ chat and ask them to reset your voicemail.
I have had to do that 3 times in the almost 2 yrs I have had my MJ. After they do that you need to reset your password and outgoing message, as both will be set to default.
Thank you for your responses. I'm not sure I made it clear that when I call VM, MJ acknowledges the presence of a message, but when I press 1 to listen to the message, it isn't there. This can be fixed with a simple reset of VM through chat? Thank you.

Maybe yes. Depending on what the problem is. Have you tested your VM by leaving yourself a message? It is possible someone called you and hung up without leaving a message but the system showed a message. I think if you leave a message less than a sec it does that.
Still can't hurt to have them reset it.

I've had that happen also. It seems all it takes is once the recorded voice instructs the caller to leave a message, and the caller just hangs up instead, we're still notified that a message was left. Worth trying yourself like Joe advised.
In my case, I verified that a message over 2 minutes long was left but could not be listened to. I did follow the suggestions to have VM reset and things seem to be fine, at least for now. Thanks for the replies.
