Change Number of Rings before mj voicemail answers
Hello again. My MJ connects to a fax machine (brother mfc 3360). I'm using it as both a fax and phone. I just used some tips I found on this site to get my fax where it would recieve faxes. Sometimes though, the mj voice mail will pickup before the fax can recieve it. I have my fax set to pickup after 3 rings but it's not always exactly 3 rings. Is there any way that I can turn the number of rings before mj voicemail picks up to say 5 or 6 rings or if I have to, turn it off ?

I guess you missed that little search box at the top of the screen. Remember it is your friend
Here you go, one of many times it has been discussed here:

You may also want to do a search on faxing as it is hit or miss ( mostly miss) for some.

Just what I needed.!
Thanks bitstopjoe, that was just what I needed. I used the search to find this post on configuring a Brother Fax machine to recieve faxes:
http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/noti ... t4736.html
which also worked perfectly, but I should have looked a little more on how to adjust the number of rings, and thanks for reminding me about the great search option and all of questions you can get answered there.
For what it's worth, I haven't found anything yet that I couldn't do with this magic jack - incoming / outgoing calls, sending / receiving faxes, voicemail, running it as a service and, most of all, this fantastic support site that seems to have the answers for how to do it all.
Thank you phoneservicesupport.com
