Inbound caller gets fast busy signal.

I've been using my magicjack for a week and would like to replace my landline. So far, call quality is great.
Recently somebody tried to call me from a local landline and got a fast busy signal, they then tried on a cell phone and it went through fine. If the line is not reliable this could be a big showstopper for me.
Any idea why this happened?

It is possible your NEW MJ phone number exchange is new and your local phone company is not aware of it yet ( happens a lot). This tends to work itself out after a few weeks, but read this for more info ( even though it is about a cell phone it is still relates to your problem)

I had a similar problem when I ran mine through WiFi.... Resolved once hard wired and powered ucb hub installed

It's not wi-fi.
It is a new exchange however, so I think that likely the culprit.
