I've had Magic Jack for about two years and suffered with everyone else thru echoes, beeps etc. In spite of this, I reckon I've had reasonably decent, and surely inexpensive service.
I upgraded to Windows 7 on a new computer about two months ago and all was still well, including a long international call.
This past week or so, however, incoming calls have been randomly going 'on hold'. Now some outgoing calls to regular phones aren't ringing either or connect briefly and then go 'on hold'. I can call my cell phone without problem though.
I've tried downloading all the fixes I could find and reinstalling the MJ dongle without success. I'd be glad of suggestions about what to do next. I use Comcast to connect to the net.
I should add that over a year ago, when I was getting the dread 'Warning You Need to be connected to a USB' , MJ customer service had me reformat it thru the USB port it was on. I was using Vista then but can't seem to find this on Windows 7. I'm not much of a techie and everything looks different. Help here would be appreciated too.
Thanks
Random hold on calls?

hold
I have an issue with magic jack randomly triggerring "on hold" while I am inthe middle of conference calls for work. I have to redial back in and other end of call gets disturbed because of me interupting the confrence call. Is there a reason or fix for this? Is there way to disable on hold feature?
Thank you
