Restarts every 1 second

My unit restarts every second. At least the onscreen window does. It does not load contacts, or recognize the 911 address. Only clue is that I unplugged it before it had completely loaded just before this. And the unit is expired, and I was trying to renew.

Why even have the MJ unit plugged in if all you are tying to do is renew?? Just log into your account, renew, reboot and THEN plug in the MJ unit and see what happens. OR contact online chat, tell them you are trying to renew and see what they said you should do.

I would not want to renew if my unit is bad, and would like to confirm this before giving them my money.

IF the unit IS bad. Are you going to buy another? IF SO, then all you need to do is contact chat first prior to plugging in the new unit so you can still have the same # and, depending who you chat with, the additional time you just paid for.
I still would contact chat first before you do anything.
Another option is to try your existing unit on another PC and see what happens.
By the way if you are using the extension cord with your MJ, don't. Causes more problems than it is worth and at least one person on here had it go bad after 2 years or working.
