MJ won't stay "awake", moving mouse fixes it.

My MJ won't stay working for long periods of time. I think that somehow something is "going to sleep" because if you mouve the mouse it will work properly again. This is what actually happens:

I wake up in morning and move mouse/use computer.
If I get a call it will work.
I go away for a few hours, then come back (leaving computer on, no screensavers, no sleeping or any other things {As far as I know} are enabled).
I come back and don't move the mouse/use the computer.
Somebody calls me and it DOESN'T RING. It goes straight to voicemail.
I notice on my other computer that I got an email from magicjack and I have a voicemail message.
I know this person will call back right away so I go back to the computer that the magicjack is connected to and merely move the mouse.
The person calls and it works fine, rings and I can pick up.

What the F is going on? This is a recurring problem, on different computers with different magicjacks.

Have you gone into Control Panel-System-Hardware-Device Manger-USB Root Hub-Power Management and unchecked "Allow computer to turn off this device"? Your computer appears to be saving energy by turning off your USB ports when not in use.

Yup. Make sure each USB's box is unchecked and then click OK.

That seems to have fixed it. Thanks.
