I did the resistor to fix the caller ID, and it works fine.
However, when I tested with my cell my MJ phone would ring for a while, then the phone would say I had a missed call. The phone would continue ringing on the cell end and start my MJ phone ringing again like there were two different calls made but it was all the same call.
This doesn't bother me really, I am just curious if anyone knows why the system is doing that now.
I'm thinking it's just the cordless phone.
EDIT:
It seems to have stopped.

I may be wrong, but I believe that is a normal and harmless side-effect of that software. (Multiple call instances)lychy wrote:Yes I'm running the MagicRingForever.Nobody beats the Whiz! wrote:That is strange. Are you running a third party "ring forever" software solution?
Enjoys a daily VOIP cocktail made from:
-One shot Magic Jack
-One shot TK6000
-One shot NetTalk Duo
-Two shots Ooma (it's bigger)
Shaken, not stirred.
Google Voice is the chaser.

It is! I didn't think about that until you asked if I was running it.Nobody beats the Whiz! wrote:I may be wrong, but I believe that is a normal side-effect of that software. I tested and it is what's causing the issue.
