How do I pick up second call?

Post by haze10 »

If I am on MJ talking, I can hear a beeping when someone else is trying to call. How can I pick up the second call?

For me I usually hit my flash button on my cordless or on some phones the same button you press to make a call ( usually the on or talk button).

Try pressing the button you press to start a call. IF it is the talk button I have no idea why it is not working. Maybe hold it a sec longer.
You can always press the accept button on the softphone if you happen to be near your PC when you get a 2nd call.

I know in my manual it says to press and hold the flash key for my particular phone (or I can send to answering machine).
Maybe try a few times when you've got someone on the line with a cell or something and try holding talk for different lengths.
That is what will switch calls, unless your phone does NOT have call waiting abilities (some don't).

You can always try to Google for your phones user manual if you don't have it.

I found this: http://www.ehow.com/how_4841892_use-call-waiting.html
Can't hurt to try that way!
