I am having a problem with my magic jack. It has worked great for months all of a sudden it has stopped working.
- I have an Imac 10.4.11
- It was working for months
-Did the upgrade with the Magic Jack help desk
-Re-formatted/ partitioned the Magic jack
- I tried it on my PC ( ee netbook) it works (sometimes) but reception is so bad and it cuts out.
Basically i try to make the call it says "Creating outgoing call" then it hangs back up to the dial tone and says "Ready to call" I call also hear my phone ringing when someone calls me, but when I pick up it doesn't work. I am also receiving voice mails.
It is still not working. I love the product but I think their help desk people lack the technical knowledge. Does someone out there have the answers?

Did it stop working after you did the upgrade to the magic Jack? If it did then maybe you need to upgrade to OS X 10.6.x. Like maybe they've tested magic Jack to work with 10.5 and 10.6 but not 10.4. I know that one thing is significant about 10.4 is that it's the last version of OS X that supports non Intel Macs and magicJack never supported non Intel Macs.
If it stopped working before you did the upgrade then there is a bit less reason to think upgrading Mac OS X would help, but it still might.
